Osram cooperate with AgMedica to provide agricultural lighting for the cultivation of medicinal cannabis

At the end of last month, Fluence, Osram subsidiary, announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with AgMedica, the licensed medical cannabis grower in Canada. Sources said Fluence will be the exclusive supplier of cultivated LED lighting system for AgMedica's world-class vertical plant facilities. The LED grow light system is going to be used to provide the light the cannabis needs in the growth.

With the help of advanced LED lighting system, the company can also effectively control the development and production of secondary metabolites such as terpenes and flavonoids to meets the company's strict standards.
